Top Investor Relations Professionals Recognized at 6th Annual CIRI Alberta
Awards Gala

CALGARY , Sept. 25 /CNW/ - Leading investor relations professionals from across Alberta were recognized last night at the 6th Annual Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) Alberta Awards Gala in Calgary .

    
    Awards for excellence in 2009 went to:

    IR Professional of the Year  -  John Cobb, Keyera Facilities Income Fund

    Management Team of the Year  -  EnCana Corporation

    Volunteer of the Year        -  Mike Macleod, Georgeson Shareholder
                                    Services

    Lifetime Achievement         -  Linda Zavarella, Imperial Oil Limited
    

The awards gala also served as a fundraiser for the Albert Park/Radisson Heights Community After-School Program (CASP). The event raised almost $10,000 for the program, which offers free drop-in programs for families in the Albert Park/Radisson Heights areas for children aged 6-12.
