Toronto Central LHIN Announces New Board Chair

The Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Ferrante as Chair of the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network Board of Directors.
Ms. Ferrante has a diverse background in the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was the Chief Operating Officer of The Ontario Energy Board, where she was ultimately responsible for all departments in the organization. Her experience in the public and private sector includes senior positions at BMO Financial Group, Ontario Power Generation, and C.D. Howe Institute, one of Canada's leading economic policy institutes. Ms. Ferrante started her career as a journalist working at The Montreal Star, The Montreal Gazette, and Maclean's news magazine. An active member of the community with over 25 years of experience on not-for-profit Boards, Ms. Ferrante is currently a Member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, a Member of the Canadian Foundation for Governance Research, and a Member of the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments. With her extensive experience in the governance of Crown Corporations, she also serves on the Boards of Via Rail Canada and the Independent Electricity System Operator.
