Toronto Central LHIN Announces New Chief Executive Officer

The Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the appointment of Camille Orridge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network.
Ms. Orridge will leave her post as CEO of the Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre on Sept 3, 2010 and will officially begin at the Toronto Central LHIN on November 1, 2010. Ms. Orridge was appointed following a rigorous and comprehensive international search process.
Ms. Orridge has extensive leadership experience in the health care and community sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre since 1997, Ms. Orridge has been responsible for an organization that serves close to 20,000 clients monthly and has an annual budget of $190 million. Ms. Orridge has served on various provincial and Toronto Central LHIN advisory groups including the provincial ER/ALC Expert Panel and as Co-Chair of the Toronto Central LHIN Aging at Home Council. She is a guest speaker and participant in initiatives on topics including health system integration, health human resources, ethics in health care decision making and performance measurement and accountability. An active volunteer, Ms. Orridge is one of the founders of the Canadian Home Care Association, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention and the Regent Park Pathways program.
