Toronto Central LHIN Announces New Member of the Board

The Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is very pleased to announce the appointment Richard Blickstead as Director of the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network Board of Directors.
Mr. Blickstead is currently the CEO of the Wellesley Institute, a national non-partisan progressive institute focused on population health through applied research, pragmatic public policy and innovative systems thinking. He is a senior executive with experience in Canadian and American public and private sectors including Peoples Jewellers, Wal-Mart, Dylex, Holt Renfrew, and RONA specializing in organizational revitalization and change management, strategic leadership, and governance. Mr. Blickstead is a member of several Boards/ Councils including The Toronto Board of Trade, Young/World Presidents Organization, Centre for Urban Health Initiatives, Canadian Centre for Diversity, Harvard Club of Toronto, and was a past Director and Treasurer of the Children's Aid Foundation. Mr. Blickstead was also a member of the Toronto Central LHIN's Research and Education Council in 2007/08. In his current role at the Wellesley Institute, Mr. Blickstead has worked with numerous health service providers within by the Toronto Central LHIN.
