TORONTO, Oct. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - In the middle of the intersection at King Street and Shaw Street, John Michalicka hammers a spike into underground hydro cable. This procedure confirms that the cable is de-energized for safe removal. As part of this Metrolinx project, Toronto Hydro will relocate its existing underground powerlines and install more than 5,000 metres of new cable.
