Toronto Hydro-Lert 3 - No Major Outages to Report

TORONTO, Oct. 31, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro is pleased to report that call volumes have returned to normal and there are no widespread outages to report at this time. Based on current conditions, the estimated time for crews to arrive onsite has reduced to two hours.  Restoration time for all calls has also reduced to approximately four hours.

While the rain continues, Environment Canada is predicting that winds will pick up after midnight and continue into Friday morning. Heavy winds can damage trees and power lines.  The utility reminds customers to always keep back from downed wires and to report them immediately at 416-542-8000 or 311.

Toronto Hydro will provide its next update at midnight.
