TORONTO, May 29, 2015 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro has joined the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games as the Official Electricity Distribution supplier, with in-kind support.
Toronto Hydro will play a key role in supporting the TORONTO 2015 street banner program, which will brighten up the city from now through Games time, by dressing up Toronto Hydro poles and streetlights across the Greater Toronto Area with 4,500 banners.
Toronto Hydro has also opened up its facility at 5800 Yonge Street to the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015), to house the Uniform Distribution and Accreditation Centre (UDAC). "These Games wouldn't be possible without the support of TO2015 Partners. It's inspiring to see so many organizations across Ontario getting behind the Games," said Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015).
