Toronto Paramedic Association pleased with POMAX Consultants report on Toronto EMS/Fire Services. Encourages city council to rapidly accept and implement EMS recommendations.
TORONTO, June 26, 2013 /CNW/ - The Toronto Paramedic Association strongly supports the majority of recommendations concerning EMS in the 'City of Toronto/Pomax report on Toronto EMS and Fire Services' released on June 25, 2013. The majority of findings are in line with what the Toronto Paramedic Association has been advocating for years.
The Toronto Paramedic Association encourages Toronto City council to support the EMS recommendations in the report and to put those recommendations in to practice as soon as possible. More highly trained Paramedics and more fully staffed ambulances will equal more lives saved and a better quality of healthcare afforded to the residents and visitors to the city.
The Toronto Paramedic Association represents the professional interests of over 400 Toronto Paramedics. The Toronto Paramedic Association is a chapter organization of the Ontario Paramedic Association and the Paramedic Association of Canada.
