Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange Continue 2012 Canadian Financing Series in Calgary
CALGARY, Oct. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will continue their 2012 Canadian Financing Series, "A Growth Platform for Canadian Entrepreneurs," in Calgary on Thursday, October 18, 2012.
This workshop is tailored to executives of local companies seeking growth capital. It will cover topics related to listing, such as the pros and cons of going public, how to prepare your company for listing, accessing capital and future financing options.

In 2011, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange welcomed 480 new Canadian issuers, and equity capital raised was $51.1 billion on the exchanges. As of September 30, 2012, the exchanges are third in the world for equity capital raised according to the World Federation of Exchanges.
