Toronto's Fife House set to welcome Lindsay Wagner.
Acclaimed Actress, Author & Lecturer to bring her holistic experiential workshop to Toronto on July 10th.
TORONTO, June 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Lindsay will present her "Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart" workshop in collaboration with Fife House, Canada's largest provider of housing and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. As an extension of the Wellness Program at Fife House, Lindsay is offering a special three-day experiential workshop to Fife House's clients that will bring together body, mind and spirit in a holistic and healing way.
Known for her many iconic television and film appearances, Lindsay is delighted to share her globally renowned expertise and experiences with Fife House. "The study and sharing of Holistic Health, the integration of Body, Mind and Spirit to awaken our amazing human potential and heal the body, has always been my greatest passion." Wagner adds, "One of the most empowering realizations I've had is that my perspective of my situation was causing me more suffering than my situation itself. As I learned to shift my perspective, my experience of what I was going through changed. My workshops and retreats have developed out of my own healing journey and many years of studying both Western and Eastern modalities."
Keith Hambly, Executive Director of Fife House welcomes the opportunity to offer this unique workshop. "Fife House is first and foremost, committed to enriching the lives of our clients. We welcome Lindsay and her insights into the connectivity between physical, emotional and spiritual health for those living with HIV/AIDS."

About Lindsay Wagner
While Lindsay Wagner was working as one of the most popular actors on international television, she was simultaneously pursuing a vigorous study about healing and its relationship to the expansion of human potential. That journey of more than four decades has brought her in contact with some of the most gifted doctors, scientists, healers and spiritual leaders around the world. Now, Lindsay has brought this collective wisdom into a transformational process that has made a profoundly positive change in so many peoples' lives.
The "Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart" workshop is based on the concept that "our experience of any life circumstance is a result of our personal perspective more than the circumstance itself". It is designed to help recognize and shift the conscious and unconscious concepts we carry in the mind which often have a life diminishing influence on others and ourselves. For many, the workshop can be the catalyst needed to break through old or undesirable patterns affecting our family dynamics, intimate relationships, self-image, parenting, friendships and our work or career. This shift helps us to more readily access the peace, joy and connectedness, which is naturally within us.
Lindsay has presented her workshops in the US, Canada and Mexico and in November 2008 took them to Europe for the first time holding programs for caregivers in England. In Spring 2009 she returned for a very successful three-month tour of the UK and Ireland. Her 2 and 3 day "Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart" workshops and evening programs were held not only for the public, but included special programs for caregivers, those recovering from addictions and one for mental health practitioners from the UK National Health Service.
Lindsay looks forward to taking her passionate perspective of our extraordinary human potential to all corners of the globe, inspiring others to realize how amazing they truly are.
