Tourisme Montréal launches Phase 2 of its Sorry campaign - William Shatner apologizes for the noise generated by Montréal's 375th anniversary celebrations Français
MONTRÉAL, Jan. 18, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Tourisme Montréal has just launched Phase 2 of its Sorry campaign in Toronto and New York. The campaign message is delivered with a warm and friendly tone by the voice of the celebrated actor and native Montréaler William Shatner.
Between now and March, this passionate fan of Montréal will be inviting residents of nearby cities to take part in Montréal's 375th anniversary celebrations. A series of dynamic videos has been released, with Shatner apologizing in advance for the ruckus.
The campaign's goal is to position Montréal as a must-see destination at a time when the city is bustling with activities and glowing with pride. The campaign, which was developed by Ig2 and Touché, is primarily being featured online. It showcases the city's outstanding food scene, arts and culture, and events. The first phase of the campaign kicked off in December, with various Montréal ambassadors offering advance apologies to their neighbours and inviting them to join the party.
