TRANSPORT CANADA EMPLOYEES SET UP THE REGNIER GIRLS TRUST FUND

OTTAWA, Sept. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Transport Canada (TC) employees and the Bank of Montreal have established the Regnier Girls Trust Fund in an effort to collect donations from the public. These donations will help support the three daughters of Leo Paul Regnier, a TC employee, and of SherrieAnn Regnier, who both died as a result of a tragic accident in Ottawa on September 16, 2010.

"Staff at TC were very saddened to hear of this tragedy. In difficult times, TC employees pull together as a family. This trust fund is a small gesture of support, from the TC family to the Regnier girls," said TC Deputy Minister Yaprak Baltacioglu.

Donations to the Regnier Girls Trust Fund can be deposited directly to account number 24448095809, at any Bank of Montreal branch.

Transport Canada employees wish to extend their condolences to Serah, Jessica and Isabella Regnier, and the family.
