Transportation Safety Board of Canada deploys a team to investigate a marine accident near Sorel, Quebec Français
GATINEAU, QC, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators to Sorel, Quebec, where the bulk carrier Tundra ran aground on the St. Lawrence River. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that advances transportation safety by investigating occurrences in the marine, pipeline, rail and air modes of transportation. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
