Transportation Safety Board of Canada deploys a team to the site of the grounding of the harbour cruise ship M/V Louis Jolliet near the Isle of Orleans, Quebec Français
QUEBEC, May 16, 2013 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team to the site of the grounding of the harbour cruise ship M/V Louis Jolliet. At 14:30, the small cruise ship went aground at the western end of the Isle of Orleans, Quebec. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
