Transportation Safety Board of Canada deploys an investigator to a pipeline accident near Fort St. John, British Columbia Français
GATINEAU, QC, June 27, 2012 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying an investigator to the site of a natural gas leak and flash fire at a pipeline compressor station located 160 km north of Fort St. John, BC. As a result of the fire, two employees were injured. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
