Transportation Safety Board of Canada deploys an investigator to lead a team of Canadian technical advisors and experts to an aircraft accident in Kazakhstan Français
GATINEAU, QC, Jan. 31, 2013 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying an investigator as its accredited representative to the site of an accident in Kazakhstan involving a Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft. The investigator will lead a team of technical advisors and experts from Bombardier and Transport Canada.
The TSB will represent Canada in the collection of information, as well as facilitate the flow of information to and from Canadian participants and Kazakh investigation authorities.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
