Transporter: The Series Revs Up on HBO Canada

TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Stunts, speed, and non-stop action. HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Astral's The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (Western Canada) presents Transporter: The Series, the high-octane Canada/France co-production that follows the adventures of trained transporter Frank Martin who can always be counted on to get the job done and deliver his package. The series premieres Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada with two back-to-back episodes, with subsequent episodes debuting Friday nights at 9 p.m ET/MT.

Starring Chris Vance (Prison Break, Dexter), the series tracks professional transporter Frank Martin from Paris, Berlin and the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean to Geneva, New York and beyond as he carries out his mission to get his packages delivered. As an ex-Special Forces operative, Frank has acquired the driving, fighting and survival skills to make his deliveries on schedule, and never quits until he's reached his final destination. In the premiere episode, Frank must fend off hired thugs from a fuel company while he races to deliver a new energy-efficient engine prototype to the Paris Auto Show.
