TRC invites media to briefing prior to Alberta National Event

EDMONTON, March 20, 2014 /CNW/ - The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) invites members of the media to attend a briefing with TRC Commissioner Marie Wilson on Wednesday, March 26 in preparation for the TRC Alberta National Event.

The Alberta National Event will take place at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton from March 27 to 30.

The briefing will provide a valuable opportunity for representatives of the media who are planning to attend to ask questions regarding the event program and to explore any protocol issues that may be of concern.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission is an independent commission established as a result of the 2007 Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.
