TORONTO, June 5, 2014 /CNW/ - Corus Entertainment's preschool channel Treehouse is delighted to premiere Dinopaws (52 x 11) an endearing series that stars three curious little dinosaurs on their daily journeys of epic discovery, on Saturdays and Sundays at 5 p.m. ET, beginning June 7. "We're thrilled to be bringing the bright and bold series Dinopaws to Canadian families," said Jamie Piekarz, Director of Content, Corus Kids. "The adventures are full of surprising, empowering and laugh-out-loud funny moments that preschoolers will love."
The 52 x 11-minute series follows three bold, brave and sweet dinosaurs, Gwen, Bob and Tony, on their mighty missions to explore the world, which always include fun, laughter and first-time experiences. Along the way, the young trio are fascinated to discover other dinosaurs, exciting places, bewildering objects and new feelings. The series' colourful and playful prehistoric world is brought to life with a striking animation design and poetic language.
"Dinopaws stars a cast of characters that are irresistibly likeable," said Mary Bredin, Vice President, Guru Studio. "With their imaginative adventures and love of discovery, we are sure these charming and colourful dinos will capture the hearts of young fans across Canada."
Dinopaws is an international co-production from Treehouse and Guru Studio in Toronto, along with Kindle Entertainment, Impossible Kids and the BBC in the UK. It debuted earlier this year on BBC Worldwide's preschool channel, Cbeebies, in the UK, Poland, the Nordic region, Africa, Australia, Asia and the Latin American and US Hispanic markets beginning in spring 2014.
