Triple O's 'A-Team' Guests Raise $80,000 for KidSport BC

VANCOUVER, Oct. 5, 2018 /CNW/ - Triple O's annual KidSport Day fundraiser took place at 41 participating restaurants on September 28th, raising over $80,000 to support KidSport BC. For nine consecutive years, Triple O's has helped under-privileged kids learn teamwork skills and build self-confidence through team sports. Donations cover annual registration fees, and all funds raised support kids in the same local community.

On KidSport Day, a Loonie from the sale of every combo was donated to KidSport chapters across the province. Generous Triple O's guests have helped more than 200 kids build self-confidence and learn teamwork skills through organized sports since the fundraiser's inception.

The campaign was given a big boost by a rookie player, the Stadium Burger – an inspired mash-up of two popular sports game classics: a hot dog and a hamburger. Made with a 100% fresh Canadian beef and an all-beef hot dog topped with two slices of cheese, grilled onions, two pickles, and famous Triple "O" sauce, this limited-time-offer menu item was a star player.

"Every year, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of Triple O's guests," said Triple O's and White Spot President Warren Erhart. "On behalf of our whole team, I'd like to say a big thank you for helping so many kids grow through sports."

"Triple O's continues to hit our annual fundraiser out of the park!" said Pete Quevillon, Director of KidSport BC. "For nine straight years, Triple O's and their guests have gone to bat for our organization, helping get kids off the sidelines. I want to extend a heart-felt thank you to everyone who chipped in!"
