Trois-Rivières welcomes Plan large III - Le cinéma québécois en photo - A unique and original exhibition... that's worth the trip! Français
MONTREAL, June 26, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Loto-Québec is pleased to present the Plan large III - Le cinéma québécois en photo exhibition for the first time in Trois-Rivières. This free, not-to-be-missed event is open to all and will be outside the Parc portuaire from June 26 to July 15, 2013.
This major artistic project organized by the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois consists in an exhibition of 12 large-size photographs featuring producers and actors who marked Quebec cinema in 2012. The works were created by six of Montreal's most talented photographers: Maude Chauvin, Dominique Lafond, Leda & St.Jacques, Jean-François Lemire, Jocelyn Michel and Guillaume Simoneau.
The artists drew inspiration from 12 films: L'affaire Dumont; Avant que mon cœur bascule; Camion; Ésimésac; Inch'Allah; Laurence Anyways; Liverpool; Mars et Avril; Omertà; Rebelle; Roméo Onze; and Tout ce que tu possèdes.
The exhibition will be on tour in two other Québec cities. After Trois-Rivières, the exhibition will move on to Baie-Saint-Paul from July 17th to August 19th and to Saguenay from August 20th to September 23rd.
Plan large III gives the public a wonderful opportunity to get to know the artisans of Quebec cinema from a different perspective!
