TSB Deploys investigator to rail accident in Golden, B.C.

GATINEAU, QC, March 3 /CNW Telbec/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed an investigator to today's train accident in Golden, B.C. TSB senior rail investigator Terry Toporowski is the Investigator-in-Charge.

On 03 March, 2010, at approximately 14:15 local time, two trains were involved in an accident.

The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
