TSB deploys team to investigate air accident near Ahousaht, BC
GATINEAU, QC, May 30 /CNW Telbec/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team to yesterday's air accident near Ahousaht, BC. TSB Pacific Region Manager of Air Investigations Bill Yearwood is the Investigator-in-Charge and is leading the team. He is accompanied by two TSB investigators.
On Saturday, May 29, 2010, at approximately 12:40 pm local time, a Cessna 185 was involved in an accident.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
