OTTAWA, Feb. 11, 2012 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed a team to yesterday's marine accident in off the coast of Newfoudland. TSB senior investigator Pierre Murray is the Investigator-in-Charge and is joined by another investigator.
On 10, February 2012, at approximately 8:00 pm local time, a marine accident occurred.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
