TSB Deploys Team to Investigate Rail Accident near Falding, Ontario
GATINEAU, QC, Oct 1 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team of two investigators to today's rail accident near Falding, Ontario.
On October 1st, 2010, at approximately 11:10 a.m. Eastern Time, a freight train was involved in an accident.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
