TSB has deployed an investigator to a marine accident at Mayne Island, B.C.
GATINEAU, QC, Aug. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed an investigator to today's marine accident at Mayne Island, B.C. Mr. Bill Dutrizac, Senior Marine Investigator, is the investigator-in-charge of this accident.
On 03 August 2010, at approximately 8:00 am local time, a ferry was involved in an accident.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
