TSB Releases Report on Passenger Vessel Nordik Express Striking
GATINEAU, QC, May 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) today released its final investigation report (M07L0158) into the August 16, 2007 striking of Entrée Island, Quebec, by the passenger vessel Nordik Express.
At 2303 eastern daylight time, the Nordik Express struck Entrée Island while approaching the entrance to Harrington Harbour. The vessel sustained damage. However, none of the passengers (156 on board) or the members of the crew was injured.
