TSB to deploy a team of investigators to a helicopter accident near Sept-Îles, Quebec

DORVAL, QC, May 13, 2014 /CNW/ - Tomorrow morning, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will deploy a team of investigators to where a 350-BA Astar helicopter operated by Heli-Boreal Inc. crashed near Sept-Îles today. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.

The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
