Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc. and the United Steelworkers, Local 7065, reach a new collective agreement - Minister Leitch congratulates both parties Français
OTTAWA, July 31, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc. and the United Steelworkers, Local 7065, on the renewal of their collective agreement.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program's Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). FMCS provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the jurisdiction of the Canada Labour Code.

- Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc. operates a passenger and merchandise railway service between Emeril Junction in Labrador and the Town of Schefferville in Quebec.
