TSX ETF Providers Celebrating 30 Years of ETFs Opens the Market

TORONTO, March 9, 2020 /CNW/ - 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the creation of the world's first Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). To celebrate this milestone, as well as the rapid growth of the Canadian and global ETF markets, ETF providers joined Loui Anastasopoulos, President, Capital Formation, Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) to open the market. 2020 is also the year the Canadian ETF industry reached the milestone of $200 Billion in Assets under Management (AUM). TSX is home to over 31 ETF providers, with over 700 products.
