TSX Venture Exchange Sets New Trading Records

New records established for volume and number of trades

TORONTO, Nov. 10 /CNW/ - TMX Group Inc. today announced that TSX Venture Exchange again established new trading records yesterday, November 9, 2010. 

Volume traded was 527,777,070 shares, which surpassed the previous record of 437,715,396 set on November 8, 2010.  A new historical peak for number of TSX Venture Exchange trades executed was also established yesterday with 85,350.  The previous record of 70,624 trades was set on November 8, 2010.

Combined trading volume on Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange was 1,278,879,114 shares.
