TUSCANY ANNOUNCES MACKLIN ACQUISITION & UPDATES EVESHAM DEVELOPMENT

CALGARY, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - Tuscany Energy Ltd. (TSXV:TUS) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 30% working interest in a Dina heavy oil property located at Macklin, Saskatchewan.

The property comprises 3,770 acres and includes four shut-in Dina horizontal oil wells, a water disposal well and 7 square miles of 3D seismic.

Tuscany plans to reactivate the horizontal oil wells and evaluate the 3D seismic for future development.

The Macklin property is on trend with the Evesham Dina pool in which Tuscany has a 60 % working interest. At Evesham, Tuscany operates 3 Dina horizontal oil wells currently producing at a gross rate of 130 Bopd. Tuscany plans to drill two more horizontal Dina oil wells, at Evesham, by year end.
