TVO on the Road brings The Agenda with Steve Paikin to Barrie January 18
TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - TVO's flagship current affairs program, The Agenda with Steve Paikin, travels to Barrie, Ontario January 18, 2015 to record two programs that focus on the future of the community, the economy and emerging issues in one of the fastest growing cities in the province. The visit will take place in the Main Lobby of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and members of the public are invited to be part of the audience.
The Agenda will welcome business, academic and community leaders from the region to discuss how Barrie's economy is transitioning and how its rapid population growth is impacting life in the city and surrounding areas.

The recording of The Agenda programs will be live streamed at theagenda.tvo.org on January 18 beginning at 2:30 pm. The episodes will be broadcast on TVO on Monday January 19 and Tuesday January 20 at 8 and 11 pm.

The TVO on the Road tour has travelled to 16 towns across Ontario since 2008 and has engaged citizens in discussions on local issues such as regional economies, the 2011 Ontario election, and the future of education. After Barrie, the TVO on the Road tour will make its next stop in Thunder Bay in March.
