TVOKids and Students across Ontario select Best Teacher Ever

TORONTO, June 18 /CNW/ - With the help of students across Ontario, TVOKids has selected the winners in the 2010 TVOKids Best Teacher Ever Contest in partnership with City Parent.

The contest opened on May 3 and received 9,938 entries at the close of the contest on June 16. It invited kids to write to TVOKids describing, in as few or as many words as they wish, what makes their teacher so special.

In a random draw, winners from three categories were selected from all the entries. The three teachers selected in the draw each won a personal laptop computer and a pizza party for their class. The winners are:
