TVOKids live stage show returns to The Word On The Street Festival
TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - On Sunday, September 22nd from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, TVOKids returns to The Word On The Street Festival (WOTS) in Toronto with an interactive live stage experience designed to inspire a love of learning. The TVOKids stage at the free annual outdoor book festival that champions Canadian writing and literacy will be located just south of Bloor Street on Queens Park Circle.
Featuring TVOKids's most beloved personalities, including Gisѐle from Gisѐle's Big Backyard, and Kara, Drew, and Dalmar from The Space, the TVOKids stage is bursting with excitement as families help celebrate Gisѐle's 15th anniversary at TVO. Families can also take part in the musical fun with Gisѐle, Jay Jay, and a trio of musical guests: Royal Wood, The Samba Squad, and the Strumbellas. There will also be appearances by the Reading Rangers, Kara, Drew, and Dalmar's literacy-loving alter egos. After the performances, kids and parents can meet Gisѐle, Kara, Drew, Dalmar and the one and only Polkaroo, and have them autograph your favourite book or TVO apparel.
