Tweed Announces Lineup for Front Yard Shindig 2017

Tickets Now on Sale for Aug. 12^th Outdoor Music Show

SMITHS FALLS, ON, May 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Music fans rejoice. By popular demand, Tweed is happy to announce the second rendition of the Front Yard Shindig. The family-friendly musical event takes place August 12^th, 2017 on the grass in front of Tweed's site at 1 Hershey Drive in Smiths Falls.

This year's event will be headlined by Mother Mother, the indie quintet from Vancouver and Halifax's own hip-hop hero, Classified. Other surprise musical guests are sure to come out of the woodwork to join in on the fun.

The Shindig starts at 2:00 pm and runs until late so plan for a full day of games, activities, food trucks, vendors, and of course, some great Canadian music.

"We want to play a positive role as a community member here in Smiths Falls with an event that can bring people together for a fun-filled day with their families," said Bruce Linton, Tweed's co-founder, CEO and resident Baritone. "And don't worry, I promised my family I wouldn't sing on stage to ensure the crowd that gathers also stays!"
