UL Warns of Counterfeit UL Mark on Electrical Outlet Boxes
PUBLIC NOTICE
NORTHBROOK, Ill., Feb. 28, 2012 /CNW/ - UL is notifying AHJ's, electrical contractors, electricians, consumers and retailers that the electrical outlet boxes identified below bear a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States. These outlet boxes have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is unknown if the boxes comply with UL's safety requirements.
