NORTHBROOK, Ill., Oct 15, 2013 /CNW/ - The following is a notification from UL to consumers and retailers that the AC Power Adapter identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States. This AC power adapter has not been evaluated by UL to any Standards for Safety and it is unknown if this power adapter complies with any safety requirements.
Note that the Model PA-1650-02 power adapter with the counterfeit UL Mark is similar to a Model PA-1650-02 that is authorized to bear the UL Mark. The counterfeit Model PA-1650-02 power adapter is marked "JY168" with bar code "F2TB0522109711." The model authorized to bear the UL Mark is marked "Rev.A05" with bar code "F4TB0337B00001."
