UL Warns of Outdoor Lighted Sculptures with Unauthorized UL Marks for Canada
</pre> <p>NORTHBROOK, Ill., <span class="xn-chron">Dec. 17, 2010</span> /CNW/ -- Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is notifying consumers and retailers that outdoor lighted sculptures sold in <span class="xn-location">Canada</span> and that were manufactured by Nixan International Ltd. were labeled by the manufacturer with unauthorized UL Marks for use in <span class="xn-location">Canada</span>. This notice does not include products sold in the <span class="xn-location">United States</span>. These sculptures have not been evaluated by UL to Canadian safety requirements and are not authorized to bear the UL Mark. It is unknown if this product complies with Canadian safety requirements.</p> <p/> <p>Name of Product: : Lighted Buck, model 910124; Lighted Doe, model 910124; Lighted Sleighs, model 910125; Lighted Horse, model 910126; and Lighted Lamp Post, model 910186.
