<p>NORTHBROOK, Ill., <chron>Oct. 1</chron> /CNW/ -- Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is notifying consumers that the Portable Lamps and Ceiling Lamps, identified below, bear unauthorized UL Listing Marks for the <location>United States</location> and <location>Canada</location>. These products have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety for the <location>United States</location> and <location>Canada</location>, and are not authorized to bear the UL Mark. It is unknown if these products comply with <location>United States</location> or Canadian safety requirements.</p>
