UL Warns of Power Supplies with Counterfeit UL Listing Mark and UL Energy Verified Mark

PUBLIC NOTICE

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - The following is a notification from UL to consumers and retailers that the Power Supply models identified below both bear a counterfeit UL Listing Mark for the United States and Canada. The model SK02G-0900200U power supply also bears a counterfeit UL Energy Verified Mark for Canada. These power supplies have not been evaluated by UL to any Standards for Safety and it is unknown if they comply with the safety requirements for the United States and Canada. In addition, the model SK02G-0900200U power supply has not been evaluated by UL to any Energy Efficiency standards.
