TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - On Thursday, January 17, join Ultima Foods President and CEO Gerry Doutre at the Toronto Board of Trade as he reveals a behind the scenes account of one of the biggest brand launches by a Canadian food company.
Titled "iögo: A 100% Canadian Success Story," Mr. Doutre's presentation starts in January 2011 and ends just 18 months later with the successful introduction of the new iögo yogurt brand, simultaneously offering 44 new products for consumers and 21 products for food service in August 2012. In his remarks, Mr. Doutre will share how Ultima Foods created a 100% Canadian yogurt brand that is competing against multinational brands, backed by a $70 million investment in Canadian manufacturing, R&D, product development and marketing.
