TORONTO, July 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Global's smash-hit series Under the Dome, annihilates the competition and breaks a Canadian summertime record. The series, based on the bestselling novel by acclaimed author Stephen King, garnered nearly 2.6 million confirmed viewers, making it Canada's #1 summer drama premiere of the past decade.

Next week on Under the Dome ("Outbreak" - Monday, July 15 at 10pm ET/PT) the town of Chester Mill falls into a state of panic when a medical emergency of meningitis threatens the town's depleted medical resources. Meanwhile, Julia continues to search for answers into her husband's disappearance.
