TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Global's Entertainment Tonight Canada dials up the celebrity experience for TV fans this October with four totally live shows. Beginning Wednesday, October 3^rd at 7:30pm ET/PT and carrying through until Wednesday, October 24^th, Canada's most innovative entertainment news show will see ETC hosts like never before as they, along with a special celebrity guest, speak off-the-cuff about the latest Hollywood headlines and trends.

"ET Canada has always been a leader when it comes to evolving the way our genre presents entertainment news," said Tamara Simoneau, Sr. Executive Producer, ET Canada. "Our viewers will love this new spin on the format and get heavily involved as our talented hosts engage with them on a whole new level. Each show will be edgy and unscripted. Anything can happen and we are excited to see it all unfold!"

Aptly titled ET Canada Live, the 30-minute specials will be shot on location in the ET Canada studio. Featuring the hottest news of the day, lively discussions and informal panels with hosts Cheryl Hickey (@CherylHickeyETC), Rick Campanelli (@RCampanelliETC and Roz Weston @RozWeston), each show will include surprise celebrity guests and an opportunity for full viewer engagement via the popular social media platforms Twitter and Facebook.

Viewers will be able to direct questions to the hosts and celebrity guests, plus they'll have a chance to see their "posts" on the stories of the day via a social media stream, which will air throughout each broadcast. Viewers will also be able to vote on the best celebrity fashion, most juicy star moments and take part in ET Canada's fun Face Off online polling.
