Unifor available for media following meeting with Premier McNeil about Northern Pulp
HALIFAX, April 3, 2019 /CNW/ - The president of Canada's largest private-sector union will be in Halifax on Wednesday to meet with Premier Stephen McNeil regarding Northern Pulp and will be available afterwards for media comment.
"Our union is determined to find a way forward in Pictou that keeps our members employed at the mill, respects Pictou Landing First Nations and protects the environment and we're speaking directly with the premier to move toward that reasonable solution," said Jerry Dias, Unifor National President.
