Canadians from across the country are now able to shop UNIQLO on the go
and purchase extended sizes exclusively online
TORONTO, Aug. 7, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - UNIQLO, the global casual apparel retailer, today announces the launch of e-commerce on the mobile website and UNIQLO CA app. This marks the first time UNIQLO will be launching with a mobile-first approach.
"Thanks to the launch of mobile e-commerce Canadians from coast to coast to coast are now able to shop UNIQLO on the go and discover LifeWear, clothing that is constantly being innovated, bringing more warmth, more lightness, better design, and better comfort to people's lives," said Yasuhiro Hayashi, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO Canada. "Since announcing the launch of our first store we've been inundated with requests for e-commerce from people across Canada and we are thrilled to be able to serve everyone now, especially locations where we do not have stores."
No matter the weather, the newly launched mobile e-commerce will enable people from every corner of Canada to find clothing solutions from within the wide range of UNIQLO LifeWear clothing suitable for all lifestyles. Locations known for high temperatures such as Windsor, ON, will find AIRism extremely comfortable as it wicks moisture, releases heat, and absorbs sweat to keep the wearer dry. Rainy cities, from Abbotsford, BC to St. John's, NL will appreciate BLOCKTECH, which comfortably shuts out rain and wind with stretchy and breathable materials. HEATTECH will be universally loved by all, especially those in notoriously cold locations such as Winnipeg, MB and Saguenay, QC as it absorbs moisture from the body to generate heat, while air pockets in the fabric fibres retain heat.
A major benefit to shopping UNIQLO on the go is the ability to purchase extended sizes on core items, including favourites such as Women's Leggings Pants and EZY Ankle Pants, and Men's Flannel and Dry Stretch Sweat Full-Zip Long Sleeve Hoodies in sizes XXS to 2XL.
Additional perks to shopping on the go include items available exclusively on mobile e-commerce, including:
