Unveiling of new public service announcement - "15 ans à combattre
l'homophobie, ça change des vies!"

MONTREAL , Sept. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - GRIS-Montréal (Groupe de Recherche et d'Intervention Sociale) is celebrating 15 years of demystifying homosexuality in schools. Media representatives are invited to a press conference to launch the non-profit organization's sixth annual fundraising campaign, Wednesday September 23 at 10 a.m.

Those in attendance will hear testimony from a teenager who was a victim of homophobia in school. GRIS-Montreal will also unveil its brand new public service announcement, a video featuring the organization's two spokespeople - well-known Quebec actors Vincent Bolduc and Macha Limonchik - as well as gay, lesbian and bisexual volunteers.

The GRIS Award for fighting homophobia in school will also be presented to teenagers who created a dynamic activity in their school to educate others on homosexuality. The $500 prize is presented in collaboration with the Syndicat des Employés Professionnels et de Bureau (SEPB).
