TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2014 /CNW/ - The 2014 RBC Run for the Kids to support youth mental health gets underway this Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 7 a.m. with some 7,000 participants lacing up to run and walk the race. The 2014 RBC Run for the Kids will result in lane closures in the following locations:

Vehicles will be allowed to cross at major intersections when deemed safe to do so by police officers on duty to ensure participant safety.
About RBC Run for the Kids
The RBC Run for the Kids will be held on Saturday September 20, 2014 at Mel Lastman Square and will consist of a 5km walk/run, 15km race and 25km race.
Sunnybrook and RBC have partnered together to host the event, which raises funds for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook. This unique program helps families who have a young person (aged 13-26 years) suffering from a mental health issue and/or addiction find they help they need, regardless of institution.
The first annual RBC Run for the Kids, held last September, raised $1.2 million in support of the Family Navigation Project.
