VICTORIA, BC, March 14, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will be making an announcement related to Canada's nature, parks and wildlife at the Ship Point Pier in the Inner Harbour of Victoria, British Columbia alongside the research vessel (RV) David Thompson.
Media will have the opportunity to tour the RV David Thompson and speak with specialists from Parks Canada between 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The formal announcement will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a brief media question period.
