Update on the status of the sustainable trail network of the Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ)

MONTREAL, Dec. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec wishes to remind everyone that the request to rationalise trails subsidised via the ministère des Transports du Québec`s (MTQ) programs dates back a few years.

The creation of trails subsidised by the FCMQ itself dates back to the 1970s. This helps to explain why the FCMQ, at the present time, is working at compiling information on all of its subsidised trails in order to ensure that they meet the realities of the 21^st century.  Actually, the FCMQ is analysing all available sources of funding in order to update, stabilise, and maintain its entire, exceptional trail network. 

The FCMQ will produce a preliminary report which will be presented to the FCMQ Board in early 2014.
